ESL/JOURNALISM/TRANSLATION UNI AUG 2025

– Teaching hours: up to 16 class hours per week
– Contract length: 10 or 22 months
– Teach students ages 18 to 21 years old
– No office hours
- Monday to Friday classes with evenings and weekends off
- Deliver learner centered, engaging lessons to all students
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities

- Bachelor’s degree required for ESL position (English and American culture, Oral English, Linguistics, Speech, Debate, etc)
- Master's degree required for the Journalism position (Broadcasting, Hosting, Media operation, etc)
- Master's degree required for the Translation position (English & Chinese translation, History, Cultural studies)
- TEFL/TESOL certificate (120hrs)
- Clean criminal background check
- Candidates speak English at an idiomatic level
- Enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, team players who love working with teenagers

– Salary: 11,000 RMB per month for the ESL position; 15,000 RMB to 19,000 RMB for the Journalism or Translation position.
